Getting Started

Using a spin wheel is simple! Follow these three easy steps to get started:

  • Add Your Options: Enter your choices in the options field. You can use Simple mode (one option per line in a textarea) or Advanced mode (individual input fields with more control). Switch between modes using the "Simple" or "Advanced" button in the Settings tab. Many wheels come with pre-filled options (presets) that you can use immediately or customize to your needs.
  • Spin the Wheel: Click the spin button in the center of the wheel and watch it rotate. The wheel uses true randomization to ensure fair results. Each visible option has an equal chance of being selected.
  • See Your Result: The wheel stops on a random option, and the result is displayed in a modal. You can share the result, hide it from future spins, delete it, or spin again.

Options Management

The Settings tab gives you complete control over your wheel options. Choose between Simple and Advanced modes based on your needs.

Simple Mode

Perfect for quickly adding many options at once. Simply type or paste your options, one per line, in the large textarea. This mode is ideal when you have a list ready to go.

Tip: You can copy a list from a spreadsheet or document and paste it directly into Simple mode. Each line becomes an option automatically.

Advanced Mode

Individual input fields for each option with powerful controls:

  • Hide/Show: Toggle checkbox to hide options from the wheel without deleting them. Perfect for temporarily excluding options you might want to use later.
  • Duplicate: Click the duplicate button to copy an option right after it. This is useful for weighted selection—duplicate an option multiple times to increase its chances of being selected.
  • Remove: Delete an option permanently from your wheel.

Pro Tip: Use Advanced mode to fine-tune your options after adding them in Simple mode. Switch between modes anytime without losing your options.

Sorting and Organization

Use the sort dropdown to organize your options:

  • Alphabetically (A-Z): Sort options from A to Z
  • Alphabetically (Z-A): Sort options from Z to A
  • By Visibility (Show/Hide): Group visible options together, then hidden ones

Shuffle: Randomly reorder all your options with one click. Great for mixing things up!

Reset: Restore the default preset options for the current wheel. This is useful if you've made many changes and want to start fresh.

Spin Modes

Choose the perfect spin speed for your situation. Each mode creates a different experience:

Quick Mode

Duration: 2 seconds

Fast spin for instant results. Perfect for rapid decisions, quick games, or when you need an answer fast.

Normal Mode

Duration: 4 seconds

Balanced spin with smooth animations. Great for everyday use, providing a good balance between speed and anticipation.

Suspense Mode

Duration: 7 seconds

Dramatic spin that slows dramatically at the end. Perfect for parties, streams, or when you want to build excitement and tension.

Custom Mode

Duration: 1-30 seconds (your choice)

Full control over spin speed. Use the slider to set your perfect duration. Great for creating unique experiences or matching specific timing needs.

Mystery Spin

Toggle this option to hide all option text with "..." during the spin. The result is revealed when the wheel stops. This creates an extra layer of suspense and surprise!

Perfect for: Surprise reveals, games, parties, streams, or any situation where you want to keep the options hidden until the very end.

Make your wheel look exactly how you want with our customization options:

Color Themes

Choose from 10 beautiful color themes in the Customize tab:

Classic Blue: Traditional blue gradient theme
Purple Dream: Rich purple tones
Green Nature: Natural green shades
Red Passion: Bold red colors
Orange Sunset: Warm orange tones
Rainbow: Vibrant rainbow colors
Monochrome: Elegant black and white
Pastel: Soft pastel colors
Dark: Dark theme for low-light environments
Ocean: Calming blue-green ocean colors

Some wheels have custom color themes optimized for their specific options. For example, the Yes/No wheel uses blue and red colors, while the Coin Spinner uses gold and silver tones.

Button Customization

Personalize the spin button to match your style! Click "Customize Spin Button" in the Customize tab to open the button customization modal.

Button Color

Change the button's color to match your theme or brand. Use the color picker or enter a hex code (e.g., #FF5733). The button will use your chosen color as a gradient background. Click "Reset" to return to the default blue color.

Button Text

Customize the text that appears on the button. Enter any text up to 20 characters. Leave it empty to use the default "SPIN" text.

Show/Hide Text Toggle: Use the toggle switch to completely hide the text on the button. When turned off, only the icon, emoji, or image will be visible—perfect for a minimalist look!

Tip: Hide the text when using an emoji or image to create a cleaner, more visual button.

Button Emoji

Add an emoji to your button! Type any emoji in the input field, or use our quick emoji suggestions:

Click any emoji to use it on your button. The emoji will appear above the text (if text is enabled).

Button Logo/Image

Upload your own logo or image to display on the button! This is perfect for branding, custom designs, or personalization.

  • Click "Upload Logo/Image" to select an image file
  • Maximum file size: 2MB
  • Supported formats: All common image formats (PNG, JPG, GIF, etc.)
  • The image will appear above the text (if text is enabled)

Priority: If both an image and emoji are set, the image takes priority and will be displayed instead of the emoji.

Pro Tip: Use a transparent PNG for the best results. Square images (1:1 ratio) work best for the circular button.

Reset All Customization

Click "Reset All Button Customization" to remove all customizations and return to the default button appearance.

History & Results

Track your spins and see patterns with the History tab:

View Spin History

The History tab shows all your previous spin results with frequency counts. See which options have been selected most often, helping you identify patterns or ensure fairness.

Clear History: Click the "Clear" button to reset your spin history and start fresh.

Result Actions

After each spin, you can:

  • Share: Share your result on social media (X, Facebook) or copy the link
  • Hide: Hide the selected option from future spins (useful if you don't want it to be selected again)
  • Delete: Permanently remove the option from your wheel
  • Spin Again: Close the modal and spin again
